Sustainability

OREVIA is built around a single, quiet idea: that beauty and responsibility belong together. Every choice — the cotton we weave, the dyes we use, the hands that finish each seam — is made with care for the people and places that bring the collection into being.

Natural fibres, considered sourcing

Our garments are made from handloomed organic cotton, pure silk, viscose and satin — chosen for their softness, longevity, and gentle footprint. Wherever possible, we source from growers and mills who farm and produce without chemical shortcuts.

Low-impact processes

We work with weavers and finishers who use minimal chemicals, low-water dye baths, and traditional methods that consume less energy than industrial production. Slower by intention, gentler by design.

Heritage craft, fairly upheld

OREVIA partners with skilled weaving communities practising taat shilpo — the centuries-old Bangladeshi handloom tradition. Our work is rooted in the belief that preserving heritage craft is also preserving livelihoods, and we are committed to fair pricing, transparent relationships, and long-term partnership.

Packaging

Our pieces arrive in recyclable, plastic-free packaging — printed in soy-based inks, tied with natural ribbon, designed to be kept or returned to the earth.

Made to last

We design garments that are intended to outlive seasons. A piece chosen with care and worn for years is, in our view, the single most meaningful sustainability commitment we can make.

A note on language

We are mindful that words like ‘sustainable’ and ‘ethical’ are often used lightly. We share what we do, openly — and we invite questions at any time at info@oreviaclothing.com.
